YOUR ROLE
As a Trade Specialist, you will assist Trade Manager on the activities of the trade by coordinating allocation management activities within China region, and liaising with HO/RO line management and area sales team to contribute to vessel performance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- To review of internal processes adherence.
- To distribute RO/HO policies, rate guidelines, surcharges, specific procedures etc. to China network.
- To update and monitor of vessel fulfillment on daily basis, keep close eye on the booking/equipment pickup number on daily basis.
- To set quota for designated port of origin on the equipment supply.
- To analyze the top customer performance as well as detail segment performance on weekly basis
- To analyze vessel performance to share same with local management, HO&RO management, areas and sales manager on weekly basis.
- To intervene in business negotiations with HO&RO if need any escalation by Network.
- To assist Trade Manager to coordinate with areas and sales/commercial manager for identifying new business.
- To keep a good follow up of non-performing customers and to accelerate same to respective sales.
- To constantly dialogue with branch offices to understand and take necessary action on booking generations.
- To participate in NOR target setting and fulfillment monitoring.
- To prepare PPT as meeting materials for trade manager.
- Other tasks assigned by Trade Manager.

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree, with 5+ years of shipping industry experience.
2. Sound record within the industry and being familiar with local shipping
3. market with extensive relationship.
4. Possess commercial skills, professional, autonomous with strong ability to drive forward.
5. Results oriented, analytical, and a great team spirit.
6. Willing to work under pressure and self-motivated.
7. Good communication/negotiation/reporting skills (Excel, PPT, etc.)
8. Fluent in English and mandarin
