Calix is a cloud and appliance-based platform and managed services company. Broadband service providers leverage the Calix broadband platform, cloud, and managed services to simplify operations, engagement, and service, innovate for their consumer, business. and municipal subscribers and grow their business and the communities they serve.
You will be a part of AXOS Simulation team. We develop sandbox which simulates our real HW products. You will help to maintain our existing automation environment as well as developing new test cases to ensure AXOS platform products and solutions work as expected. In addition, the candidate will participate in our simulation/virtualization tools development which will simplify our dev work.
After interning with this team for more over six months, you will:
61Accumulate experience in the entire design, development, testing, and operation of enterprise-level software
61Gain programming experience primarily in Python, Shell, etc.
61Deepen your understanding of the development environment and ecosystem
61Improve your problem-solving and analytical skills
61Enhance your experience working in an English environment and collaborating with international teams
Internship Duration
61The internship can start immediately upon successful interview
61Work 3-5 days per week
61The internship period is 6 months or longer
Responsibilities
61Maintain existing FT automation environment (smoke/sanity/bamboo …)
61Work closely with develop engineers to design manual function test cases and execute the test cases on Calix AXOS products and solutions
61Build the test environment. Triage/resolve issues found
61Design and write automate cases for manual function test cases.
61Develop simulation/virtualization tools.
Qualifications:
61Graduate in 2026 or 2027, Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Communication Engineering
61Available for 3-5 days per week, lasting for 6 months or longer
61Experiences in C/C++ or Python coding skills
61Familiar with Linux operating system
61Strong analytical skills
61Good knowledge of Computer Network, TCP/IP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding.
61Knowledge of virtualization technologies Dockers/Containers is a plus
61Strong verbal and written communication skills
Allowance
61200-280 RMB per day, adjusted based on the internship stage and performance.
