Role Overview:
General German Teachers deliver language instruction (A1-B2), design curriculum, and foster cultural competence. They lead structured lessons independently, assesses student progress, and support student development within BiUH s academic framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach German grammar, communication skills (listening/speaking/reading/writing) via interactive methods (role-plays, multimedia).
Prepare tailored materials and evaluate student performance through exams/quizzes; provide tutoring and exam prep (e.g., Goethe certifications).
Collaborate on curriculum design, share best practices, and mentor junior staff.
Maintain inclusive, dynamic classrooms.
Pursue professional development, familar with one of the study subject of BiUH in order to develop the technical German textbook and stay updated on pedagogical trends.
Requirements:
Native/near-native German (C2, e.g., Goethe-Zertifikat); fluency in English.
Master in German Studies, DaF/DaZ, or a related field; international experience preferred.
1 3 years teaching experience in universities/language institutions.
Proficiency in digital tools and office software.
