JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks. This role demands a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently while promptly escalating any issues to the AP Supervisor. The AP Assistant is expected to proactively manage the month-end closing process, adhering strictly to the predetermined schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Achieve 4 days turn-around on invoices received by SSC.
61 Check public e-mail box once a week.
61 At end of the month, 100% of all invoices received are posted either via sub-ledger or GL accrual.
61 No past due AP, unless obtain approval from Asia Pacific Treasurer.
61 Work well and get an effective communication with GL colleagues.
61 Support Treasury's initiates on OWC target and FX management.
61 Achieve 0 significant deficiencies on financial audit, SOX audit and internal audit.
61 Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
61 University graduation in Finance / Accounting
61 Preferably 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience. However, fresh graduates with strong potential are also welcome to apply.
61 Excellent in written and spoken English
61 AP or SSC experience is advantageous
