Following Sany’s investment in India and the US to build manufacturing bases, on January 1st, 2009, Sany officially signed the agreement to invest EUR100 million to build a R&D center and manufacturing base in Bedburg of Germany, which is China’s biggest investment in Europe to date. The Chinese premier Wen Jiabao and German Chancellor Angela Merkel witnessed the signing ceremony.
